A comprehensive,
evidence-based approach to
Tinnitus care.
Tinnitus remains one of the most misunderstood and mismanaged conditions in healthcare. Traditional approaches focus primarily on audiology, often overlooking the metabolic, neurological, and psychoacoustic factors that contribute to Tinnitus.

This certification is the first of its kind, providing a structured, clinically applicable framework for triaging, assessing, and managing tinnitus at the most comprehensive level.
Developed for healthcare professionals working or wanting to work with Tinnitus patients or clients, this training integrates neurophysiology, metabolic health, somatosensory influences, psychoacoustics, and functional medicine into a systematic Tinnitus triage model.
Participants will leave with a clear, structured triage system that allows for precise identification of tinnitus root causes, a step-by-step assessment protocol, and effective case management strategies.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This certification provides deep clinical insight into all contributing factors to tinnitus, giving you a repeatable, structured assessment framework to confidently diagnose and manage cases.

✔ Tinnitus Pathophysiologies – Understanding the different tinnitus subtypes, their mechanisms, and key distinguishing factors.
✔ Comprehensive Anamnesis & Root Cause Identification – Implementing structured intake protocols to assess metabolic, neurological, and somatosensory contributions.
✔ Metabolic & Nutritional Contributions – Evaluating mitochondrial dysfunction, micronutrient deficiencies, and inflammatory pathways.
✔ Endocrine & Mitochondrial Dysregulation – Understanding the role of cortisol, thyroid hormones, and metabolic imbalances in tinnitus development.
✔ Neuroplasticity & Psychoacoustic Influences – Examining the impact of brain plasticity, maladaptive auditory processing, and cognitive-emotional factors on tinnitus persistence.
✔ Physiology & Structural Influences – Investigating TMJ dysfunction, cervical tension, somatosensory tinnitus, and postural imbalances.
✔ Ototoxicity & Pharmaceutical Triggers – Identifying medications and toxins that worsen tinnitus, plus alternative approaches.
✔ Environmental & Toxicological Factors – Analyzing the impact of heavy metals, mold, EMF exposure, and chronic inflammation on auditory function.
✔ Autonomic Nervous System & Stress Dysregulation – Exploring vagus nerve dysfunction, fight-or-flight activation, and sympathetic dominance in tinnitus cases.
✔ Sleep & Circadian Rhythms – Assessing the role of disrupted sleep, melatonin cycles, and circadian misalignment in worsening tinnitus.
✔ Gut-Brain-Axis & Microbiome Dysfunction – Examining how gut health, vagal tone, and inflammation influence auditory pathways.
✔ Chronic Inflammation & Immune System Activation – Evaluating autoimmune processes, persistent infections, and systemic inflammation in tinnitus patients.
✔ Psychological & Trauma-Linked Pathways – Understanding PTSD, trauma responses, and autonomic dysregulation in chronic tinnitus cases.
✔ Somatic Tinnitus Mechanisms – Identifying and treating musculoskeletal contributors such as myofascial tension, bruxism, and cervical instability.
✔ Advanced Triage Framework & Case Study Application – Applying real-world case studies, structured assessment models, and management strategies.
This is a clinically applicable, science-driven model that enables tinnitus practitioners to work with greater precision and confidence.

Disclaimer: This is a strictly educational certification designed to provide advanced professional training in tinnitus triage and care. It is not yet accredited by any regulatory body and does not grant medical licensure, board certification, or authority to diagnose or treat medical conditions beyond the participant’s existing scope of practice.
What Makes This Certification Different?
This program builds upon and enhances previous tinnitus education by equipping practitioners with advanced assessment and triage methods that allow them to pinpoint root causes and contributing factors rather than relying solely on adaptation techniques.
It provides the knowledge and tools to systematically evaluate tinnitus cases, empowering professionals to either deliver highly targeted interventions within their field of expertise or refer patients to the right specialists for precise, effective care.
With its multi-disciplinary, evidence-based approach, this certification is the most advanced tinnitus triage program available, offering a level of depth and clinical application not found in conventional courses.
A Note from the Instructor
Tinnitus is one of the most misunderstood and mismanaged conditions in healthcare, often reduced to simplistic treatment models that fail to address its true complexity. Over the past 15 years, I have dedicated my work to understanding tinnitus beyond conventional approaches, researching its neurological, nutritional, metabolic, endocrine, somatosensory, psychological, and psychoacoustic dimensions.
For the past five years, I have worked directly with tinnitus sufferers in my private practice, refining a structured, evidence-based triage system that enables professionals to assess, classify, and address tinnitus cases with precision. This certification is the result of years of clinical experience, scientific study, and hands-on client care, designed to bridge the gaps left by traditional models and equip practitioners with the tools to deliver meaningful, individualised care.
I've designed this certification to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary framework that enhances professional expertise and fundamentally improves tinnitus assessment and management. Whether you are new to tinnitus care or an experienced practitioner, this certification will give you the skills, confidence, and clinical insight to make a lasting impact.
